What we collect
Your email address, only if you give it to us. Three pages have an optional "Get the seasonal update" signup form: the Pre-Storm Systems Check, the 72-hour storm plan and theprintable checklist. If you submit one, we store your email address, the date and time you signed up, and which of those three forms you used. Nothing else is asked for or attached to it.
Where it is stored. Signups are saved in a private key-value store (Cloudflare Workers KV) on the Cloudflare account that hosts this site. Only the site owner can read or export the list. Like any website host, Cloudflare also processes visitors' IP addresses and standard request logs to deliver and protect the site.
How it is used. Only to send the emails described next to the form — the pre-season checklist refresh and storm heads-ups, about two a year. Your address is never sold, rented or shared with advertisers or other lists.
Unsubscribe or delete it. Reply to any email from us, or write tohello@sungridliving.com, and we will remove your address from the list and delete the stored record.
Analytics. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages visited, approximate location, device type, and clicks on outbound Amazon links). We do not use it to identify you personally. The Pre-Storm Systems Check also saves your checklist ticks in your own browser's local storage; that never leaves your device.
Cookies & affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link (including Amazon links), the retailer may set cookies to attribute your purchase. These cookies are controlled by the retailer, not by us. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser settings, use ad/tracker blockers, or opt out of Google Analytics with the GA opt-out browser add-on.
